Nam's Bday I came down to do lots of fun stuff with him. On friday we got drunkie  lol ~ and then on saturday went to disneyland… which would be the same old except for some few things</p>1) I was made honorary citizen (whatever that means) 2) Fantasmic Balcony seating… we got to eat pastries and drink while watching Fantasmic center balcony…pretty fun 3) Got an awesome suite with a fireplace and fluffy pillows good times. <3 love you nam

he actually gave a lengthy speech and it was just pure genius

and he just gave this eloquent speech without prompts or reading or anything

I asked Linh Nam to write my essay. This is what he wrote
and you have to understand that he NEVER EVER writes anything lol
Once upon a time there was a Korean(KRN,AZN) girl name Christine and she lived in the largest mushroom ever. She had twelve badgers and one snake for pets. She worked at the Daily Planet as a super writer and on the weekends she would have fun at home. She would take a bite out of the mushroom she lived in and would have crazy adventures. One time, a girl scout knocked on the door and asked if Christine wanted to buy some cookies. Christine invited her in and then chopped her up and ate her in a giant stew. She fed the badgers and the snake the leftovers. In reality it was all in her head and she only ate some leftover pork in the fridge. She realized she ate the last of the pork so she decided to go to the ultramarket and buy some more pigs. The end.

It was just a phone call. A simple phone call I failed to pickup and a voice message he had failed to leave. And for a single moment my heart ached for yesterday. A single strand of me wanted it just for a moment again.
Why did he always call when the weather turns cold?
Why does he only want my friendship when it rains?
I wake up and go to class as the sun slowly bleeds into the sky. My flesh feels cold and stiff. And yet it is in these moments that I feel most alive. But as I cross that bridge a rush of bittersweet lucidity intoxicates me. I am no longer part of this world anymore. The things that I thought were so permenant have so quickly fallen apart like spiderwebs.
How I ache for one more melody to pour out of your lips and your fingertips that reminded me how real some hopes and dreams can be. How I long to feel that the facades could feel so real.
He always reminds me. I'm still waiting for my real life to begin.

Some fun Stockton stories...
1) Aditee's friend had to get to the orthodontist which is literally two blocks from south campus (i've been there) but while walking there two black guys chased her until she ran into an apartment security officer. This happened in broad daylight and they probably would've raped her.
2) My advisor's student was in the parking lot for Barnes in Noble, sitting in her car. A guy comes up to her a pushes his bare dick and balls aganist the window.
now. this happened this week to Marlene...READ IT
3) she was in a parking lot on campus changing from her work shoes to her school shoes. There was a guy there in SHORT SHORT tight black biker shorts and a white T-Shirt. He was looking around and wandering, looking genuinely lost. He even walked right by her and he smiles at Marlene and just to be nice she does the same. Then he stands in front of her car and while looking at her, he pulls out his dick and starts jacking off. And he even tries to get into her car.
The end. This is why when I walk back from work at night I carry my pepperspray AND my boxcutter.

Yesterday Bush came to Stockton.
YES. STOCKTON!!!!
The reason was that he was raising money for one of the most corrupt politicians who took money from everywhere...he's even under criminal investigation for the whole Abramov (sp?) scandal. AND he refuses to give the money back... fun times right? So they had a breakfast that was $250 a plate...
Bush was actually here this summer too...and because Stockton is SO FUCKING AWESOME...they had citizens come out and paint all the dying grass green. YES THEY PAINTED THE GRASS BECAUSE THE PRESIDENT WAS COMING.
But this time it was even better... Because Stockton is obviously epicenter of class and sophistication...he stayed at the RADISSON [ xP ] which is probably the equivalent to....hmm... a three star hotel (being generous). But there were just so many things about this trip that was so fucking wrong.
1) he barricaded off the hotel with SCHOOL BUSES. look. a terrorist is NOT going to give a shit if you have "children" as a human barrier...they're still going to blow up shit. And personally I was so pissed I wanted to run my car through those buses. and isn't this one of the things that Saddam did that was so fucking horrible? yea. fucking hypocrite.
2) It was so BLATANTLY obvious which ones were secret service because STOCKTON IS FILLED WITH FREAKS AND BUMS AND MEXICANS AND BLACK PEOPLE. A herd of White fuckers in Armani suits is NOT that hard to figure out.
3) They had cops on SCOOTERS. YES SCOOTERS!!! SCOOTERS PEOPLE... SCOOTERS!!!! kjsdkflesrlkes Sonstroem and I just looked at them and couldn't laugh or say anything because we were so fucking amazed. :P
4) BTW the president drinks 40s. We saw secret service people at one of the shittest 7-11s (yea we followed them so sue us) and they were buying toiletries and 40s... 40s... and the guys looked absolutely embarassed to buy those too.
BUT THIS IS THE BIGGEST THING
so we all know about Folley right? the pedophile hypocrite who probably is going to be indicted due to his own laws?
Well Bush went to a ELEMENTARY SCHOOL and finally made a statement two days after of this huge fallout
